Medium voltage Power Factor capacitors 3.3KV to 24KV are available in single or three phase configuration depending upon voltage & reactive power required.
Modern capacitors are physically smaller than older ones and there are seldom problems in replacing old with new.
Fitting new capacitors into existing equipment is much more cost effective than replacing the complete unit.
